Annual Choirs Festival – Saturday 17th November 2012, Worcester Cathedral

Please join us for the Annual Choirs festival 2012 on Saturday 17th November 2012 at Worcester Cathedral, under the direction of Dr Peter Nardone, the new Director of Music & Organist at Worcester Cathedral.

The service will celebrate the festival of St Cecilia, and will also include presentation of awards to successful RSCM Bronze & Silver choristers.

This years’ music will include Who would true valour see (Malcolm Archer), Hymn for Saint Cecilia (Herbert Howells), Evening Canticles in G (Ivor Atkins), and responses by Dr Peter Nardone.   Festival books containing all the music are available for £5 per copy.

Arrangements:

1:30pm Choirs arrive

2pm – 4pm Rehearsal

4pm – 4:45pm Break

5pm – 6pm Service
